Today is Mother's Day. It's been a great day. Steve made me waffles and served me breakfast in bed. He also got me a fondue pot. Now we can have our Christmas Eve dinner! I got a rose in church. Steve made lunch and watched Anna while I took a nap. A very restful day. Yesterday was nice too. We got a lot done. Steve took care of Anna while I took a nice, relaxing bubble bath and read a book (Steve's idea). I definitely feel appreciated.
I also wanted to express my appreciation for my mom. She has been such a wonderful example to me. I've learned so much from her. Now that I'm a mom, I realize how much work it must have been raising us kids. I'm so grateful for everything she has done for me. She is one of my greatest supporters and friends.
