The Big Break
Yesterday I invited my neighbor, JaLynn, and her daughter over for lunch. We had a great time eating and talking. I eventually made some crunchy caramel corn (Steph's recipe) for us to eat. After they left and Anna was put down for a nap, I sat down to do some family history and nibble on the leftover caramel corn. All was fine until, CRAACK! I bit down on a popcorn kernel. I knew something bad had happened, so I spit what I had out and found a large chunk of a tooth. It's from my very back molar on the top left. I'm hoping to get in to the dentist today or tomorrow and get it fixed. Keep your fingers crossed!

Just an update: I went to the dentist and he recommended getting a crown. He took out the old filling and filled in the big hole. In two weeks, I get to have my crown put on. I'm not too excited, but at least I can eat on the left side of my mouth again without cutting my mouth up!
ReplyDeleteWow! Was it painful? How crazy - I'm glad you get to keep your tooth!
