Blackberry Picking

One evening, Steve and I took the kids to Wallace Swamp Creek Park for a walk.  While we were there, we discovered tons of blackberry bushes.  In order to get the kids home that night, I had to promise that we'd come back to do a proper job picking berries.

So, a few weeks later, the kids and I loaded a couple of buckets into the car and headed to the park.  The kids loved picking the berries.  I armed each with a stick to knock down the spider webs that were always built right in front of the juiciest berries.  We also walked in the creek to grab some berries.  So much fun!
