Crafty

I don't think I'm what you would call a 'crafty' person.  I can't come up with an original idea to save my life.  I look at all those fun, thrifty, do it yourself projects and long to do them.  I often buy all of the stuff, but I just can't seem to finish (or even sometimes start) them.

HOWEVER!  I did do a project last week from start to finish.  I made Anna some cloth blocks to play with.  I got the idea from a blog I follow called, Make It & Love It.  So cute and really easy.  I just got a package of already coordinated fabrics (another thing I can't do myself) from Wal-Mart, cut out squares and sewed straight stitches.  It took me only two days.  That's my kind of project.

Need I say more than that?  This is what I found when I got Anna up from her nap yesterday.  Time to lower the mattress and put all the breakables away.
